A global study of 250,000 workers has found that the struggle for work/life balance is just as much of an issue for men as it is for women, but men find it more difficult to talk about this stress.
The University of Georgia's research found that a majority of working fathers fear negative career repercussions or threats to their masculinity if they try to discuss work/life balance, with the study suggesting that it was more socially acceptable for women to discuss work/life balance because of the social norm that they will be the primary caregiver for children.
