  • Race discrimination in schools uncovered in new report

A new report published by the Runnymede Trust and NASUWT, The Teacher's Union, has highlighted evidence of widespread race discrimination in school workforces. The report, Visible Minorities, Invisible Teachers, discovered a huge shortfall in the number of BME teachers across the UK relative to BME students and finds that BME teachers are paid less than their white colleagues, less likely to reach leadership positions and highlights the impact of workforce inequality on BME students.
