Men being given tasks with greater visibility leads to a PowerPoint Premium means that a gender pay gap exists even between men and women with the same job title. Research carried out by economist Aspasia Bizopoulou at the University of Edinburgh found that men are more often given tasks delivering negotiations, presentations and spreadsheets, demonstrating that although both men and women may share the same job title their tasks and responsibilities are different. These high profile tasks are often better rewarded, contributing to the gender pay gap.
