New research from recruitment consultancy Feel has found that a lack of employer flexibility towards working mothers results in £1.3 trillion worth of lost earnings. The research found that 75% of mothers surveyed were in work, but that 54% were forced to change or leave jobs due to family commitments. Three quarters of respondents had a university degree, but almost a third said that their degree was not relevant to their current role.
