Overview 

This workshop aims to provide participants with:

  • Building rapport with your increasingly diverse teams
  • Recognising normal behaviours of team members
  • Working with multi-generational teams
  • Identifying negative behaviours
  • Dealing with inappropriate behaviours
  • Implementing an open-door policy
  • Using coaching tools to monitor results

By the end of this session, participants have gained new tools and confidence in relation to managing diverse teams, highlights the benefits of inclusive management and leadership styles on team and business performance and have a better understanding of the impact they have in creating an inclusive culture. 

Key elements:

  • Taking the time to build relationships and trust in the face of cultural nuances
  • Learning about differences
  • Clarifying expectations considering the varying patterns of expectations and common processes that need to be negotiated. Who expects what, and why? How will decisions be reached? Who decides ultimately? Micro inequities and micro affirmations. Clarifying potential conflicts and explore possible remedies. How different are the issues raised, and the troubleshooting plans imagined by the various team members? Plan B’s?
  • Communications, communications, communications –Channels Frameworks and work methods? Exploring rules of communications
