There is a growing debate on the nature of leadership and how organisational leaders can ensure that they adopt a skill set which enables them to manage an increasingly diverse workplace more effectively. How do leaders move away from ‘command and control’ leadership styles to ones that are more collaborative and engages with difference, based in for instance cultural background, age, sexual orientation or thinking and work styles? This will be a key question explored in this 2 and a half hour introductory workshop.
