Peter de Norville

Peter joined enei in June 2017, to develop and lead their global diversity function. Prior to joining enei, Peter was head of talent consulting for a management consultancy, where he worked with global business leaders to deliver their strategic talent agenda. He specialised in global diversity and inclusion projects but has worked with clients across all elements of strategic talent consulting.

Peter’s previous roles include the Head of Talent, Resourcing, and Diversity at Legal & General, Partner and Head of Talent Consulting at Alexander Berkeley, Client Partner at Heidrick & Struggles, HR Business Partner at Bankers Trust, and a Bomb Disposal Engineer with the British Army. Peter has lived and worked in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, as well as in North, Central, and South America.

Adrian Hyyrylainen-Trett

Global Diversity & Inclusion Adviser

Adrian Hyyrylainen-Trett has over seven years of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion experience, in the public, private, and political arenas. He has worked in the LGBT+ sector, championing same sex marriage and campaigning for fully inclusive sex and relationship education in schools, as a way to prevent bullying, mental health issues, and suicide rates amongst young people. Adrian is currently working in the House of Lords as the Equalities Research Advisor to the Liberal Democrat Equalities spokesperson, which has broadened his knowledge and understanding around BAME, Gender, and Disability issues, in addition to his continued activism on behalf of the LGBT+ community.

Adrian has chaired LGBT+ Liberal Democrats on two occasions and now chairs the Diversity Sub-Committee for the Liberal Democrat Party, under the auspices of the Federal Development and People Committee. He also Chairs the Pride in London Community Advisory Board, which scrutinises the work and organisation of Pride, and works closely with the Metropolitan Police in a specialist advisory capacity. He speak Italian and French, and has global experience from working with legal and financial services in the City, as well as the Alliance of Liberal Democrats in Europe (ALDE). His international contacts and network, were further developed as a former member of the Liberal International Human Rights Committee, and as a current co-opted member of the Federal International Relations Committee.
