Diversity and Inclusion Manager - ITV


12 Month Fixed Term Contract

The role will be part of the Resourcing & Development team and will primarily focus on partnering with HR to build our inclusive culture and access as well as specific initiatives around the diversity and inclusion agenda. What this role will entail...

The diversity and inclusion agenda is a key priority for ITV and the role of the Diversity and Inclusion manager will be to collaborate with HR and the business to ensure the successful implementation of the divisional diversity agendas, in line with the overall strategic objectives of diversity and inclusion.

The role will work closely with the HR teams to provide the relevant diversity and inclusion processes, tools and best practice required to embed the overall ITV Diversity and inclusion strategy.

 Key responsibilities include:-

  • Partner with the HR teams to enable the business to build a workforce that reflects and represents ITV’s audiences
  • Work closely with HR partners to advise, deliver and consult (as required) on diversity and inclusion practices, enabling the implementation of the diversity strategy across ITV
  • Develop and embed creative ideas to support diversity challenges
  • Make use of external trends and activities to identify best practice that can build ITV wide initiatives to increase diversity of our workforce
  • Help grow and embed ITV’s social mobility strategy and initiatives
  • Continue to drive engagement around sharing personal information to help understand the make-up of our workforce
  • Ensure all our workplace, policies and procedures are inclusive

The ideal candidate:

  • Proven track record in managing the diversity and inclusion agenda is essential
  • Evidence of successfully leading and delivering projects from start to finish around the diversity & inclusion agenda is essential
  • Experience of implementing diversity and inclusion activity in a large organisation, including the development of key internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Able to demonstrate experience of producing guides, resources and materials to help advise, support and engage the business
  • Experience within the diversity agenda and ability to advise confidently on all strands of equality, including clarity around language
